This elegant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot reflects the soul of our unique soil at the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains. ON THE NOSE:
Expressive to say the least! A lovely balance of dark fruit, spice and herbal undertones. Blackberries and plums are accompanied by sun-dried tomatoes, juniper berries and scents of cloves. An undertone of cigar box, cedar wood and eucalyptus lends another dimension of complexity to this extraordinary wine.
ON THE PALATE:
Wonderful fruit acidity is balanced with powerful, yet chalky tannins, ensuring a good aging potential for this elegant wine. Enjoy lingering notes of sweet dark fruit, blackberries and spice.
PAIRED WITH:
This wine will enhance big flavoured meals and structured hearty dishes. Bold flavours such as grilled and roast lamb with garlic and rosemary, beef brasato, risotto ai funghi.
