The phenomenal 2018 vintage of this Right Bank Bordeaux styled the blend is recognized for its exquisite balance, elegance and truea varietal expression which gives it loads of personality to finish it off.
The 2018 vintage was one of the most multi-layered and complex in the history of the vineyard. It was at the peak of the extreme drought that started in 2014 and the crop yielded limited production due to water restrictions, making it a rare and unique vintage.
The resulting wine exhibits exquisite dark fruits and a mulberry undertone, as well as notes of graphite and purple fruits. The clean acidity blends well with the final touches of sweet spice and aniseed.
