This elegant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot reflects the soul of our unique soil at the foothills of the Helderberg Mountains. It’s the result of both nature and nurture – a true labour of love.
ON THE NOSE:
Expressive to say the least! A lovely balance of dark fruit, spice and herbal undertones. Blackberries and plums are accompanied by sun-dried tomatoes, juniper berries and scents of cloves. An undertone of cigar box, cedar wood and eucalyptus lends another dimension of complexity to this extraordinary wine.
ON THE PALATE:
Wonderful fruit acidity is balanced with powerful, yet chalky tannins, ensuring a good aging potential for this elegant wine. Enjoy lingering notes of sweet dark fruit, blackberries and spice.
PAIRED WITH:
This wine will enhance big flavoured meals and structured hearty dishes. Bold flavours such as grilled and roast lamb with garlic and rosemary, beef brasato, risotto ai funghi.
