Hartenberg Wine Estate, one of Stellenbosch’s most celebrated wineries, has a legacy that spans centuries. "The Eleanor" is named after Eleanor Finlayson, a formidable and elegant woman who played a pivotal role in the estate's history from 1948 to 1977. This Chardonnay mirrors her character: poised, graceful, and resolute.
The nose reveals finely integrated toast layered with lemon zest, white peach and delicate blossom. The palate is poised and textured, with vibrant acidity driving citrus and subtle stone fruit through a focused, mineral line to a long, persistent finish.
