Palate:
Flavours of ripe black cherry and juicy ripe red and black fruit on the palate gives a full, balanced taste. The dry 2018 vintage produced a more linear, pure wine than its predecessor. Persistent, juicy and complex, it remains true to the elegance and finesse that Anno 1693 is known for after more than three years in bottle! A serious wine showing powerful ripe fruit flavours with perfectly integrated tobacco spices. Approachable tannins with an energetic, youthful freshness that lingers.
