The highest percentage of varieties other than Syrah since the first vintage in 2008 resulting in the most "Rhone like" version to me to date. In the 2018 vintage we still had a lot of stress on the vines from the drought so by adding more of the GCC that can generally be harvested earlier than Syrah we could add more fruit and freshness the wine in a natural way without having to acidify and this is also the first Rall Red below 14% alc. Loads of red fruit and spice from nearly 100%whole bunch fermentation on all components. Matured in old french oak for 12 months before being bottled unfixed and highly filtered and further bottle maturation of 12 months before release.
