Go to the shopThe Jasper Red Blend 2022 is named in honour of founder Bruwer Raats’ late father, symbolising heritage, family and dedication. Sourced from the granitic slopes of the Polkadraai Hills, this blend is built around Cabernet Franc, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Raats Family Wines is known for its meticulous vineyard work and minimal-intervention philosophy, allowing the terroir to speak clearly. The 2022 vintage reflects this perfectly: ripe fruit harvested by hand, gentle extraction in the cellar and careful maturation in oak to enhance finesse rather than dominate.
