Nadine: "The idea of making this wine was born about 6 years ago. Donovan and I were sitting on our terrace enjoying a glass of wine and philosophing about life. My idea was clear: I wanted a wine from Donovan, that you can enjoy every day. You have a first sip while you prepare dinner, you enjoy it with dinner and afterwards around a fire. It shouldn’t be complicated, but yet complex and a typical Donovan Rall Wine. And it had to be Syrah, my favourite grape variety.
Two years later, two unlabelled bottles reached my home with greetings from Donovan. As I had the first sip, I knew Donovan nailed it and the rest is history and luckily bottled in the meantime.
I am feeling honoured knowing Donovan from his first vintage on and calling him a true friend."
